Turn Off Your Phone!

Mobile phones, a device everyone uses daily. But I'm starting to realize that people tend to overuse this device, and mostly at the wrong time.
Here are some examples of using mobile phones at the wrong time and has completely annoyed me:
  1. Turning on your mobile phone during a meeting, a service at church, a presentation and so on. Even with the sign 'Please turn off/silent you mobile phone', many still don't get it.
  2. Picking up your phone when it rings during a meeting, a service at church, a presentation and so on. It's bad enough that it's turned on, people just have to pick it up.
  3. Talking on the phone with an extremely loud voice. It's turned on with funny ring tone, you pick it up, at least have the courtesy to whisper. But no, some like to shout during their phone talks regardless of other people looking at them.

Honestly I wish people would just ban mobile phones during meeting, even at the most important meeting some still turn on and answer their phone. At a training that I recently went to, people's mobile phones were going on and off. Even with the trainer looking dissatisfied, people still don't get it. Then came a point when he told us to switch it off.

If you're one of those people who switch off/silent your mobile phones during a meeting, a service at church, a presentation and so on, give yourself a pat in the back. You're doing yourself and others like me a huge favour :)

Black Passion

I love black. I think that colour goes with kinda everything. I also love earrings. Sometimes when I'm in the mood, I make them. This is one of my earrings, comes in black. I love that stone. It was actually left over from my mum, who is also an earring maniac.

What do you think?

Chicken de la Sausage

A new blog for me and I’m firing off with a recipe. One of my favourite recipes, invented my me and my sister. We used to make this while I was still living back home. Great for a yummy dinner. Add salad to make this dish more yummyable. Enjoy and happy eating!

Ingredients

* Chicken Breasts
* 4-5 Sausages (any kind)
* Cheese (lots of ‘em!)
* Onion
* 1-2 Garlic (optional)
* Soy Sauce
* Black Pepper
* Salt
* Mayonnaise
* Herbs (any kind)
* Teriyaki Sauce

Tips
* Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces or big pieces according to what you want. Marinade the chicken breasts with kecap asin, garlic (or garlic powder if you prefer), lots of black pepper and a dash of salt. Mix it well and leave for about 30 minutes or more (You can leave it for 5 minutes if you don’t have time but the longer the better!)

* Fry the marinated chicken breasts into a pan of oil. You can add butter to your cooking oil for a more crisp taste.

* Put the chicken into an oven-proof dish.

* Dice the sausages into small pieces and then fry them.

* In a different bowl, pour some mayonnaise and add herbs to it (any kind, I like oregano)

* Pour some teriyaki sauce over it.

* Then on top of the chicken and sauce pour the mayonnaise mixing. Spread it evenly.

* Sprinkle the sausages and then add cheese on top of it till it’s all covered.

* Put it in the oven for 15 minutes or so till golden brown.

* There you have it Chicken de la Sausage! Serve with mashed potatoes or whatever kind of potatoes you have.
